Don't Compromise The Truth

Again the devil took him up into an exceeding high mountain and showed him all the kingdom of the world and the glory of them and said unto him, all this will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me. Matthew 4:8-9

World War II began with a compromise that many thought would bring peace with the enemy.

Neville Chamberlain, the British Prime Minister stepping off an airplane in London in 1938 was seen waving a piece of paper that he said guaranteed " Peace in our Time". Chamberlain had negotiated a pact with Hitler which he thought would ensure Germany would not wage war against Europe. In return for Hitler's promise not to invade the European Nations, Britain and France ceded Czechoslovakia to Hitler. Their agreement, the infamous Munich pact, precipitated the most devastating worldwide conflict ever waged.

Hitler showed that he was not a man who could be pacified by compromise. Within days, he launched a murderous campaign against all Europe and World War II underway

Satan cannot be pacified by compromise and God will not make peace with evil. That first step towards compromise with the enemy is a step down the road to backsliding that can only lead ultimately to terrible defeat and destruction. Satan will certainly offer incentive to compromise.

Every invitation by Satan to compromise is an attempt to bring us into eternal bondage. No matter how juicy the promises made by Satan or his emissaries, don't fall for it.

The greatest compromise usually takes place on the doorstep of our greatest victories.
